Gateshead Consecrations - Part 2

Following the Consecration of Lindisfarne Consistory No. 111 the previous month, the Grand Summus, Most Distinguished Companion Andrew Sweeney, and the team from Grand Senatus were back at the Gateshead Masonic Hall on Saturday 21st November 2015 to consecrate Bedlington Consistory No. 112. This is the seventh Consistory in the Province of Durham and Northumberland.

At the conclusion of the Consecration ceremony, the first President, Distinguished Companion George Devine, was installed by the Deputy Grand Summus, Right Distinguished Companion Ian Currans. Following the installation and investiture of the first officers, the Most Distinguished Grand Summus, to the great delight of the assembled Companions, promoted Distinguished Companion George, who is 92 years young, to the rank of Past Grand Standard Bearer.
