The Grand Summus, Most Distinguished Companion Andrew Sweeney, together with a team from Grand Senatus, attended Castlegate House in York on the morning of Saturday 3rd September to install Right Distinguished Companion Christopher Neil Barker as Provincial Grand Summus for North and East Yorkshire. This was in consequence of the retirement of Right Distinguished Companion John Pearson.

Following his Installation, Right Distinguished Companion Christopher installed his Deputy, Distinguished Companion Keith Tonge, and his Assistant Provincial Grand Summus, Distinguished Companion Stephen Priestley.

The Companions then enjoyed an excellent lunch.
