The Consecration of Ian Hamilton Taylor Consistory No.119 took place on Tuesday 10th April 2018 at Southport Masonic Hall.

The Consistory was consecrated by the Grand Summus, Most Distinguished Companion Andrew Sweeney, together with a team from Grand Senatus. A superb Oration was delivered by the Grand Episcopus, Very Distinguished Companion Eric Bourne.

At the conclusion of the Consecration ceremony, the Deputy Grand Summus, Right Distinguished Companion Ian Currans, installed the first President, Right Distinguished Companion Geoff Gill, the Provincial Grand Summus for West Lancashire.

The Consistory is named in memory of the late Ian Taylor, the previous Provincial Grand Summus.

This Consecration was the last conducted by Most Distinguished Companion Andrew Sweeney before his retirement as Grand Summus.

At the conclusion of the proceedings in the Temple, the Companions then enjoyed an excellent lunch.
